Meet Mrs. Schroeder

I am Elizabeth Ann Schroeder and I am a second grade teacher at the Hanson Elementary School in Alexandria, SD.

My email address is elizabeth.schroeder@k12.sd.us.

I attended college for four years and graduated from South Dakota State University in April of 2005, majoring in Early Childhood Education with an Elementary Teaching Certificate from Dakota State University. Recently, I received my master's degree from the University of South Dakota with a masters in American History.

My husband's name is Matt. He farms in Alexandria and also works at the Farmer's Alliance Agronomy Center in Mitchell, SD. My husband and I are proud parents of two adorable daughters named Brooklyn and Hannah. Brooklyn was born on March 25, 2009. She is a blessing to our family. She is three years old and very active. Hannah was born on April 20, 2012. Brooklyn is a great big sis and we love Hannah very much. We love spending all our time with the girls.

I am 30 years old and I currently live on a farm east of Alexandria, SD.

I have been a teacher for seven years. I taught sixth grade for two years at the John Paul II Elementary School in Mitchell and this is my fifth year teaching second grade at Hanson.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, nieces, and friends. I also love working with children. I love to scrapbook, shop and be outside enjoying the weather.

A Few of My Favorite Things:
